VIRTUAL TESTING
FRC has developed a set of virtual testing products that support manufacturers and suppliers in lowering development time and costs.
Virtual testing products include vehicle test tracks and proving grounds, virtual testing of critical parts and repair methods, and anthropometric test devices for use in vehicle safety system development.
THOR-50M
To improve the time from product concept to delivery, the THOR-50M finite element model has been developed and validated by the leading LS-DYNA, biomechanics, and occupant protection experts from FRC for use on Linux clusters with ANSYS LS-DYNA, the world standard for virtual impact crash testing.
INSTANT POWER SHELTERS
Our INSTANT POWER SHELTER can be deployed to any location with ease in an ISO container. An integrated deployable shelter with HVAC and power within minutes quickly creates a large sheltered area that can be used for many different types of missions.
The system is instantly configurable to be equipped with provisions for many different team sizes and/or equipment needs.
